About this School Project (LINE - Third Grade)
During October, third-grade artists learned about the art element line. They learned that thin and thick lines can have different effects on their art. Thin lines make things look further away, while thick lines help things stand out and appear closer. They learned that thick lines work best in large areas and thin lines are more suitable for detailed, small areas. Inspired by the artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, students drew a landscape with a horizon line, thin lines, and thick lines. Then, they added their own creative details.
