Third grade artists were introduced to the art of African artist Joseph Amedokpo. We explored his use of line, shape, and color. Artists began by drawing a few simple shapes and then adding lines, patterns, and words. Next artists chose their color medium between watercolor paint, crayon, or colored pencils.
