About this School Project (2nd Gr. Creativity)
2nd grade artists are learning different art techniques and purposes through teacher introduced lessons and skill builders. They are also challenged to show their own creativity by planning an artwork, choosing materials, applying their knowledge of the elements and principles and art, and using feedback and self-assessment to create a finished work of art.
As they are planning, creating, and revising, students are working toward the following Ohio Visual Art Standards:
2.1CR Generate artmaking ideas from multiple sources.
2.1PE Show perseverance in the creative process.
2.2PE Apply increasing skill in the appropriate use of materials and tools.
