About this School Project (Collage)
Young students discussed different types of shapes seen in Henri Matisse’s Paper Cut Outs. They expanded their knowledge of shapes by learning about organic shapes! They used safe cutting and gluing procedures and their creativity to create their own collage using different types of shapes.
All students use Collage (cut and paste) to create artwork employing shapes, texture, color with balance, contrast, emphasis, variety and unity.
