About this School Project (4th Gr. Composition with Emphasis)
4th grade students created interesting line designs by combining different line types. They then identified how they could use different elements of art (line, shape, value, texture, color) to bring emphasis (one of the principles of design) to just one area of their artwork!
Students were working toward the following Ohio Visual Art Standard:
4.3CR Consider the elements of art and principles of design to create visually effective compositions.
