About this School Project (Scared-y Cats)
1st Grade Artists used the Elements of Art (line, shape, texture) and mixed media techniques to create “Scared-y Cats”. First, students combined lines and shapes to draw their cats. Next, they used forks and black paint to create a furry texture. While the paint dried, students created their spider. Finally, students used oil pastels to add the faces and details to their work.
