About this School Project (1st Grade Summer Fun)
For the first project of the year, students were challenged to share 5 things about their summer experiences. After the drawings were done, students could choose from a variety of markers and crayons to add color. We were inspired by the book, The Dot, by Peter H. Reynolds to frame our art. To decorate the frame students could also use supplies on a cart which included dot markers, slick sticks (gel crayons), decorative scissors, and fun foam shapes.
