Artist Statement (what ELIN609 said about their artwork)
My favorite part of this artwork is putting on the stars. My least favorite has to be when we were taping over everything to put the plaster on. The inspiration for this artwork was a black cat. The animals i chose for this artwork are a black cat and a winged animal. Something i would change if i could create it again is the snout, as it's really long. Some Things i learned about creating 3d artwork while creating this artwork is that it's really hard to make this stuff look good. The project is made out of newspaper and cardboard out together, I then put tape all over it and plastered. When the plaster dried i started off with my base colors red, purple, and black. Once the paint dried i added the lines and stars.
