About this School Project (Contour Line Figures)
4th graders learned all about gesture lines and contour lines during their line unit. During the first day, students were grouped into pairs and took turns drawing each other in fun poses using gesture lines; they began with 2 minutes and were down to 10 seconds by the last round. Using these fun poses the following class period, students began drawing the contour line of a human figure in funky poses. Once the figures were drawn, students used markers to color in their artwork.
