About this School Project (Ricky, the rock that couldn’t roll.)
Students watched the book titled, “Ricky, the rock that couldn’t roll” and made a version of Ricky with a semi circle (paper plate) and paper circles for eyes. In the story, Ricky’s friends add mud and rope to change his shape from a semi circle to a circle so he could roll. For this project students practiced winding string around their Ricky to attach mud (brown felt) to him.
