About this School Project (1st Grade Name Stack)
Using letters from their name, 1st grade students stacked them, creating interesting shapes using India Ink. Then students colored them in with neon oil pastels (under black lights!) and attempted to layer oil pastels to transition from one color to another in some shapes. We reviewed that lines can go on forever, but when they touch other lines, they can form a closed shape.
