About this School Project (1st Grade: Fall Apple/Pumpkin Painting)
Students created a still life drawing of a pumpkin and apples. Each line is drawn from oil pastel and carefully smudged. Students used two primary colors (yellow and red) to paint their apples and mixed a secondary color (orange) to paint their pumpkin. The background colors and designs are completely student choice and painted with tempera cake.
