About this School Project (Thumbprint Portrait)
This schoolwide project involved learning about the artist Chuck Close and his large scale portraits made from only fingerprints. Every student printed their thumb in a grade level color and then used a black pen to add lots of small details to turn their thumbprint into a self portrait.
