About this School Project (VanGogh sunflowers)
Lesson began by reading "Camille and the Sunflowers" by Lawerence Anholt. We looked at VanGogh's sunflower painting and discussed what students saw in the painting. Designs were sketched (either big bold sunflowers filling the page OR sunflowers in a vase on a table reminiscent of VanGogh's painting). Oil pastels layered and blended to create an eye popping artpiece.
