About this School Project (1pt. Perspective Tulip Fields)
Students looked at landscape paintings by Dutch artist Jacob van Ruisdael. Students learned how to use 1pt. linear perspective to create the illusion of space and make it look like fields of tulips are going back in the distance. Students used pastels to add color to their pictures and made sure to draw tulips larger in the foreground and smaller towards the background.
