About this School Project ((Yellow) Wassily Kandinsky Inspired)
See the music and paint it! Students began this artwork drawing lines and shapes to music. The created a light wash with watercolor and painted in the negative space (around the shapes). They filled in some of the shapes with chalk pastel by tracing the edges and smudging to fill. The artwork was finished using white paint and black India ink for contrast.
