About this School Project (Fingerprint Art)
Students used one of their fingerprints as a stamp to create a self-portrait using permanent markers, pens, & color sticks. When they were done, they worked on creating this piece of artwork by stamping six or less fingers & turning their fingerprints into an idea. Students learned what a finished piece of artwork looks like: 1.Have an idea. 2.Fill the space. 3.Add details & texture. 4.Color & recolor, filling in the white spots. Students completed artworks should have these four components.
