Artist Statement (what Guinevere232 said about their artwork)
My favorite part of this project was that it showcased me. I love cats, they are a huge part of my life, they complete me. My least favorite part was the stress, I felt kind of scared me and Ada wouldn’t finish in time. My inspiration was love, my love for animals is everything to me. If I could create it again, I wouldn’t do that pinkish fur, I told Ada I didn’t think we should do it, but in the end it turned out fine. What I learned was that there are so many different ways to do art, also every person has a little artist inside, waiting to express themselves. No not really, other than I didn’t really like the idea of the fluffy fur we used, but it surprised me because in the end, I loved it. We used some cotton balls that I stretched out, and we used many different techniques with the fur.
