About this School Project (Schoolwide Collaborative Mural)
We were inspired by the street art and mural painting of Ryan Wilson, a.k.a. ThankYouX, to create our own collaborative work. Starting with a shape template, we experimented with VALUE, mixing 3 different grays to create the illusion of 3D. Once dry we each personalized our form to express our own personality. We used paint pen, collage, oil pastel, color sticks, tempera and splattering for our pieces. We will display all 500+ together for our campuswide mural during Open House.
