About this School Project (Takashi Murakami)
Students will learn what inspired contemporary artist, Takashi Murakami to design his famous flowers, what led to his success as well as how his creativity has influenced our culture. They will learn the importance of the flower in Japanese culture and what symbols in our culture mean to us individually.
Students will create art using these symbols as well as the Murakami flower.
