About this School Project (G6 Celebrating Me)
The students began this unit by playing with fonts and typography. They were required to overlap shapes and vary sizes to create a visually appealing design. This was painted in watercolours. That was part one of this task. Then they traced their faces onto acetate and layered it on top.
The goal of this task was to connect to "sense of self" by celebrating the day we were born and acknowledging that there is so much more to us than the outside surface.
