About this School Project (K: Selfies!)

Students worked on creating more realistic self-portraits by looking in the mirror at their eye shape, hairstyles, skin color, and hair color. We celebrated identity and that our skin tones were all different. Students blended their skin colors with Crayola’s Colors of the World Crayons, which features 24 different skin tone crayons. We finished our adorable self-portraits by adding oil pastel designs and going over them with paint to create a resist.
