About this School Project (1st grade Rizzi Buildings)
James Rizzi is an artist who uses color, emotion, and buildings in his art. His art sparked much discussion with 1st graders. We discussed why he would paint the faces on his buildings. Then students created their own busy city using basic shapes, overlapping, and the watercolor resist technique.
