About this School Project (Notan Designs - 4th Grade)
Notan is a Japanese art term that refers to the balance between light and dark. Students used a 4x4 piece of black paper and cut out designs that were then flipped and glued to create a sense of balance. Geometric versus Organic shapes were also discussed.
