About this School Project (1st: 3D Koi Fish)
Students learned about Value and how a Value Scale in art means when a color goes from the lightest tint to the darkest shade. Students used white and blue paint to blend their value scale seas to make it seem like the water was getting deeper and deeper. Then, we learned about koi fish and how every koi fish has different colors and markings. They colored their unique koi fish in with marker, cut them out and made them 3D, and then added seaweed and sea creatures in the water with oil pastel.
