About this School Project (Color Theory Still Life)
Student started by exploring the use of still life as a subject in art and how it is used in different media. We looked at artists Liu Yingzhao, Tom Wesselmann, KangHee Kim, Richard Shaw and Richard Diebenkorn. We also focused on composition and the 3 Ps, Perspective, Proportion, and Placement. Student drew a still life and then applied paint in a specific color theory. 1st grade- Complementary Colors, 2nd grade- Warm and Cool Colors, 3rd grade- Value and Tints and Shades, 4th grade- Tertiary Colors, 5th grade- Color Scheme of their choosing.
