About this School Project (The Butterfly Metamorphasis)
Eric Carle, an award winning author, was also the designer and illustrator for his books. We read the Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and then created our own flowers using watercolor paint, 2 sided butterflies that are ready to fly, 3-D caterpillars using model magic, chrysalis, and eggs. The students have transformed and grown so much this year just as butterflies do.
