About this School Project (3rd | Clay Architecture)
3rd grade learned all about architecture! We discussed what architecture is, what an architect does, and how architecture has evolved and changed over time. We brainstormed different details that we might see on the facade of a building and how most houses aren't actually just a square and triangle. Students created a draft of their house design, then sculpted the front using a clay slab. Later, they used either glaze or acrylic paint to add color.
