About this School Project (Japanese Gyotaku - The Art of Fish Printing)
Second grade artists are studying the country of Japan, its customs and its art. They learned about the art of Gyotaku or fish printing for this project. Students applied ink to fish and printed them on tissue paper. They then glued their printed fish to their beautiful watercolor sea paintings.
