About this School Project (Wonderful Original Works of Art (W.O.W.))
McCarthy-Towne artists are practicing the eight studio habits of mind within a variety of media centers ranging in: drawing, painting, collage, and origami. Artists envision a long term pieces of artwork that expresses their thoughts, ideas, memories, feelings, and observations. Artists stretch and explore within the studio through experimentation and taking risks with a number of different materials. As artists focus on developing their craft they push themselves to problem solve and come up with creative solutions to their artwork. Through personal reflections, peer shares, and observations artists continue to add detail and care to their artwork.
