I weaved scrap paper through scrap paper
About this School Project (1st Grade Snakes in the Grass Weaving)
1st grade students created a grassy texture by layering oil pastels and watercolors. They learned about patterns and created a pattern on their snakes bodies before cutting them out. The learned about the artform of weaving (which is also a pattern) and carefully wove their snakes through their grass! These will be featured in our "Enchanted Forest" themed glow gallery this year!
