About this School Project ("Crafts" artworks)
Students have been learning about different kinds of yarn art. Students had the choice to create their own artworks, anyway they wanted, or they could follow along with the videos being played during class to learn how to tie a knot, how to tie two pieces of yarn together, how to make a pompom, how to make "yarn paintings" (gluing yarn to cardboard or paper), or how to make messy weavings. Students worked on creating yarn art that took persistence, dedication, & time to make a completed piece of work. Students could use yarn only, or incorporate other art materials like glue, color sticks, markers, crayons, drawing, or collage.
