About this School Project (Rene Magritte)
Rene Magritte was born in Belgian in 1898. He was one of the most prominent “surrealist” (a mix of fact and fantasy) painters, and he influenced future generations of painters, especially pop artists. His works included a fish with human legs, a man with a birdcage torso, and a gentleman leaning over a wall beside his pet lion. He died 1967.
