About this School Project (2- Fruit Still life)
Students practice the concept of still life drawing in which you draw what you see, not what you think you see. This is a form of realism, not how you have typically always drawn things. It is all about close observations and the elements of focus are shape, color, value and form. Students try their best to match the shapes of what they are drawing and match the colors and shades they see; we eliminate our idea that certain objects are all one color and we focus on seeing objects in a new way and notice that they are also 3-dimensional.
