About this School Project (Kindergarten Color Mixing Balloons!)
Kindergarten students learned about the 3 primary colors: the 3 colors we need to mix together to make the secondary colors. They demonstrated our learner profile attribute of the month, courageousness, by trying to mix their own secondary colors! Students used simple lines and shapes (2 more of the elements of art) to create balloons. They used watercolor paints to create green, orange, and purple! Ask your students which two colors they mixed to make each color
Students were working toward the following Ohio Visual Art Standards:
K.3CR Discover how the elements of art can be used in artmaking.
K.1PE Demonstrate willingness to try new processes
