About this School Project (Kinders-Emotional Faces)
These beautiful works of art are the product of combining art and music.
Northeastern’s kindergarten artists listened to four different instrumental songs and painted what they heard. We talked about emotions/feelings and how art can express those feelings with only color and line. After their paintings were completed we talked about facial expressions and how are eyes/mouth/eyebrows change with our emotions.
The kindergarten artists glued their faces to match the feelings they painted and matted them on black paper all by themselves.
