Artist Statement (what Felicia984 said about their artwork)
To make beads, we first measure the right measurement and make lines that create a triangle. Then we cut it of and use toothpicks to roll it and use mod pudge to stick it. Finally we let it dry and a beads are finished. I like this project because we get to make our own beads and make our own jewelry. I find challenging to roll the beads straight because I sometimes moved my paper and make me roll it tiltedand my beads come out ugly. I will wear it when I am going out.
About this School Project (Paper Bead Jewelry- Art 7-8)
Students used colorful paper strips and Mod Podge to make paper beads which they turned into bracelets and necklaces.
