About this School Project (Mixed!)
"Mixed," by Arree Chung, is a book that celebrates diversity. In the beginning, there are only blues, yellows, and reds (primary colors). The colors start to mix, and create an entire rainbow (and more) of color in their community. Students used fingerpaint to make their mixed people, then added details with marker to give their people personalities. Lastly, they drew the community their people were living in.
