About this School Project (KINDER Alphabets)
Orderly grids and colorful gestures are set against one another in our Kindergarten paintings, inspired by the alphabet series of Jasper Johns. Using texture plates, we did rubbings in each of our 28 spaces then used a resist technique to add color. After drawing our letterforms in black oil pastel, we went back and added bright color swatches around them.
