About this School Project (Catching Snowflakes)
Second grade learned about facts about Sweden and how their cold climate can effect their culture. Then they discussed their favorite activities to do in the snow including catching snowflakes falling from the sky on their tongues. They used oil pastels to draw self-portraits (selfies) of themselves catching snowflakes this winter. To create patterns on the scarf and sweater they learned about the principal of design, repetition.
