About this School Project (Bleeding Hearts)
American artist Jim Dine, was the inspiration for the kindergartners bleeding hearts. This mixed media project began as an oil pastel resist drawing of hearts. They then used bleeding tissue paper to create the subtle colors of the background. The final step was for the students to form a heart stamp out of a paper tube and stamp their designs.
