About this School Project (K: Hot Cocoa)
Students learned about form and pattern and how to draw a cylinder to make their mugs. We looked at artist Heather Galler and her colorful patterned mugs she paints for inspiration. Students used paint for the backgrounds and marker to color in the patterns on the mug and on top of the paint for the table and wall. We glued on white squares for the marshmallows and used white oil pastel to make it look like the hot chocolate was nice and steamy!
