About this School Project (4th Andes of Peru)
Students created patterned paper to reflect the patterned textiles of traditional Peruvian weaving. They painted a landscape to imitate the Andes mountains of Peru. Students then used their patterned paper to create a traditional costume for a Peruvian citizen. They added fringe with yarn and braided hair under the warm hats.
