About this School Project (Paper Weaving 2nd gr.)
Students were introduced to weaving and why it is such an important skill! Our key art vocabulary words were loom, warp, and weft. Once their looms were painted, they were cut into strips to create the warp. Students were then given various colors of paper strips to weave through their warp. The last step was adding fun details to our weaving with construction paper crayons!
