My favorite part of doing this was glazing it. If I could change something about this ware, I would change the color of glaze that I chose.
About this School Project (Project #1 Coil Vessel)
Students create a coil vessel, inspired by Jomon ware. Pieces are 4" wide x 7" tall and include 1 point that is an emphasis, as well as 5 different types of coils.
Techniques practiced: Scoring and slipping, caring for clay throughout the process and glaze application.
