About this School Project (K: Warm/Cool Snowmen)
Students learned about form and how to create shadows using chalk pastel to make our snowballs look more realistic. We looked at spheres and 3D shapes to help students know where to put their shadows. Students painted their swirly skies using either the warm colors (yellow, orange, red) or cool colors (purple, green, blue). We practiced our cutting and gluing by carefully cutting out our snowman and gluing it on our backgrounds.
