About this School Project (African Endangered Animals)
This lesson honors some of the most endangered species in Africa. In this lesson, students will use lines to create a simple animal drawing. Students will also show repetition of triangular shapes made from cutting, pasting and drawing to create a background that features a vibrant, geometric design.
Objectives:
Today I will learn LINE and REPETITION so that I CAN cut and draw using DIAGONAL LINES in order to create various sizes and styles of repeating triangle SHAPES in my background to give my artwork the feeling of HARMONY.
Today I will learn about BALANCE so that I CAN arrange the triangles in my background in a pleasing COMPOSITION, making both sides equally weighted.
Today I will learn about LINE so that I CAN add STRAIGHT and BUMPY lines to my gorilla to give it the look of fur TEXTURE.
