About this School Project (LINES: Relief Printmaking [Kindergarten])
PROJECT
Building from our exploration of the most common types of lines found in art, let's create lines in the art process of LINE RELIEF PRINTMAKING.
1. Line Relief Print #1: Using every line found on your Types of Line Information Sheet (at least once), carve a line-person or line-creature into your Styrofoam Plate. Then, print with one color of block printing ink.
2. Line Relief Print #2: Choose lines and shapes from your Types of Line Information Sheet to create a pattern. Carve your pattern into your Styrofoam Plate. Use the entire surface of your Styrofoam Plate for your pattern. Then, print with one color of block printing ink.
