About this School Project (Cityscapes)

James Rizzi was born and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He was a Pop artist, painter, sculptor and designer. He usually created brightly colored and vivid images. James Rizzi's artwork inspired the students to create their own NYC cityscapes. First, pencil and Sharpie were used to draw the outlines of buildings, details and background. Next, the children used watercolor paints to complete their art.
