About this School Project (Ceramic Owls: Grade 3)
Each student was given a slab of clay. First students drew out the shape of their owl body using curved lines at the top and bottom. After cutting out the owls, students used seashells, marker/glue lids and pattern tools to decorate the bodies of their owls before adding its eyes, beak and wings. After the owls were fired in the kiln, students used varying colors of glaze to paint their beautiful ceramic owls.
